2 - Κάστρο - Παναγία Χρυσοπηγή

Towards the Miraculous Saint - This route will take the hiker from the old capital city of Kastro to the most important monastery of Sifnos through historic trails with great views while passing two beautiful beaches along the way.

At 5.6 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Look for the 2 trail markings to stay on the official route.
