A00e - Da Fondotoce a Cavandone

From Fondotoce locality Canton Magistris, which also leads to the "Special Nature Reserve" of Fondotoce on Lake Maggiore, you go up along a paved mule track between chestnut groves in Cavandone sul Monterosso

Covering just 1.4 km, this is a gentle outing perfect for families or beginners. Allow roughly 19 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. The trail is officially waymarked as A00E, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
