Antica Via Clodia Tappa 11

Proposed hiking trail of the archaeological sites of the ancient Via Clodia. Problems. The current route does not pass through the Careias (Gaòeria) and Forum Clodii (San Liberato) mansiones as it has to cross private properties.

Covering 15.3 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 3 hours and 24 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.

As a Regional Walking Network (RWN) route, this trail is maintained and waymarked at the regional level. It typically connects towns, villages, and natural highlights across the wider area.
