Bad Essener Ringweg

Der 50 km lange Rundweg ist in jeder Hinsicht abwechslungsreich und bietet kulturelle wie auch naturbezogene Highlights, von Sauriern bis zu Schlössern.

At 28.5 km, this is a challenging full-day or multi-stage hike. At an average pace, the route takes roughly 6 hours and 21 minutes to complete.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Follow the BER waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
