Boarding House Trail

This hiking trail leaves the parking lot at the Scull Shoals Historic Area, on the east. The trail leads hikers through flat piney woods to the remains of a historic boarding house.

This 235 m walk is easy-going and within reach of all fitness levels. Most walkers finish in around 3 minutes.

Laid out as a circular walk, this trail finishes exactly where it begins — no need to arrange transport back or retrace your steps. The trail is officially waymarked as BHT, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
