The trail winds through white spruce thickets, open hardwoods, river flats, steep ravines and grassy meadows. Narrow steep ravines and small rivulets are bridged, and wet spots have boardwalks across them.

Laid out as a circular walk, this trail finishes exactly where it begins — no need to arrange transport back or retrace your steps.
Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
