Buckden Pike and the Polish Memorial, Upper Wharfdale

This strenuous walk climbs to the top of Buckden Pike, heads along the ridge and back down to Starbotton.

A 13.9 km full-day trail that rewards walkers with a proper day out. Budget roughly 3 hours and 5 minutes at a steady pace.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
