Burnt Mill Trail (red)
Burnt Mill Trail explores “Maple Island" area, tributaries of the Mechescatauxin (a.k.a. Sleeper) Branch and the Mullica River. Users may encounter rare plants, reptiles, amphibians, dragonflies and damselflies during warmer months.
A 18.8 km full-day trail that rewards walkers with a proper day out. Budget roughly 4 hours and 11 minutes at a steady pace.
This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. The trail is officially waymarked as BMT, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
