Cammino del Lago Maggiore - Tappa Cannobio - Ascona

A 230km circular trekking, divided into 11 stages, along the shores of Lake Maggiore. It links Lombardy, Piedmont, and Switzerland in a unique route with breathtaking views. It's a participatory journey, the result of mapping with local residents.

Covering 7.9 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 46 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the CLM waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
