Champlain Valley Trail (Keeseville to Plattsburgh)

This section follows State Route 9, providing sweeping views of the Adirondack Mountains, Lake Champlain and rural Clinton County.

A 22.7 km long-distance challenge suited to experienced hikers. Most complete it in around 5 hours and 2 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Look for the CVT trail markings to stay on the official route.
