Coast to Coast Walkway (Waitematā to Manukau)

In three stages you walk through landscapes shaped by 600 years of Māori occupation, and through some of our finest natural and built heritage areas offering panoramic views along the way.

A 17.4 km full-day trail that rewards walkers with a proper day out. Budget roughly 3 hours and 53 minutes at a steady pace.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Follow the C2C waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
