As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. The trail is officially waymarked as GR 14, so look out for the trail markers along the way.

This route is part of the National Walking Network (NWN) — a flagship trail maintained to national standards, often following scenic or historically significant corridors.
