Flößerweg

Anknüpfend an die jahrhundertealte Tradition der Flößer wurde der insgesamt 53 Kilometer lange Flößerweg entlang des Flusses Rodach geschaffen. Von Rauhenberg bzw. Rodacherbrunn/Thüringen nach Hochstadt am Main.

At 20.9 km, this is a challenging full-day or multi-stage hike. At an average pace, the route takes roughly 4 hours and 38 minutes to complete.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Follow the FW waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
