G00 - Via del Gries da Riale a Passo del Gries (quarta sezione)

From Riale to a little beyond Lake Morasco, proceed by road then begin the route on alpine paths passing through Bettelmat and then the steep climb that leads to Passo del Gries

Covering 7.1 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 34 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the G004 trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
