G04 - Crodo - Passo della Forcoletta

Route from Altoggio onwards on an interesting historical mule track still used by herds heading to Alpe Cravariola, unfortunately the road to Altoggio is private and it is recommended to combine it with an (electric) bike to enjoy the trip

Covering 8.8 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 58 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the G04 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
