Grand Tour del Lago Maggiore ® - Tappa 3 - Meina - Sesto Calende

An 11-stage trek that brings together and connects ancient historical routes, paths and pre-existing trails on the shores and hills surrounding Lake Maggiore, designed by CAI Sezione Verbano Intra. Descriptions are available on the Website.

At 21.7 km, this is a challenging full-day or multi-stage hike. At an average pace, the route takes roughly 4 hours and 50 minutes to complete.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. The trail is officially waymarked as GTLM, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
