Grande Rota das Aldeias Históricas

A Grande Rota das Aldeias Históricas é um percurso pedestre de grande rota que une as doze aldeias históricas da Beira Interior. Ao longo de toda a sua extensão percorre 17 concelhos pertencentes aos distritos da Guarda, Castelo Branco e Coimbra.

A 557.5 km long-distance route for dedicated hikers. Total walking time is approximately 123 hours and 53 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. The trail is officially waymarked as GR22, so look out for the trail markers along the way.

This route is part of the National Walking Network (NWN) — a flagship trail maintained to national standards, often following scenic or historically significant corridors.
