GSR Ostring

GSR Ostring is a 22.4 km Local Hiking hiking trail covering an interesting stretch of countryside.

A 22.4 km long-distance challenge suited to experienced hikers. Most complete it in around 4 hours and 58 minutes.

This route forms a near-complete loop: the start and finish are very close together, so only minimal transport is needed to get back. It combines the convenience of a circular walk with a slightly varied return. Follow the GSR waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
