Hudson Valley Greenway Trail (Mahopac to Brewster)

This route begins in Mahopac and follows the Putnam Trailway north winding through wooded areas, past scenic lakes, and through small communities. There are no services on the trail: local businesses can be accessed short distances off the route.

This 13.4 km route makes for a full-day commitment — bring sufficient food and water. Plan for around 2 hours and 59 minutes on the trail.

Point-to-point in layout, this trail takes you from A to B across the landscape. Consider your return logistics before heading out. The trail is officially waymarked as HVGT, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
