Ightham Mote Circular Walk to Knole, Ightham Mote

A circular from Ightham Mote through Kentish countryside, along the Greensand Way & areas of outstanding natural beauty, to Knole Park. Return to Ightham Mote via the Duchess Walk, Godden Green & Broadhoath Wood. Undulating trail. Not suitable for wheels.

Covering 12.1 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 41 minutes.

With start and finish just a short distance apart, this near-loop trail offers most of the convenience of a circular route with a subtly different final stretch.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
