KAS 01

The Route of Lissos (S1) - This circular route connects Sougia with the Archaeological site of Lisos, combining antiquities, viewpoints, the passage through the gorge of Lissos and points of cultural interest in the area of Sougia.

Covering 9.4 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 2 hours and 5 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the KAS 01 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
