Lady Hervey Walk, Ickworth Estate

Circular walk from Porter’s Lodge past lakes, Adkins Wood and St Mary’s Church. Grass, gravel and tarmac paths which can muddy in winter. Dogs welcome but must be kept on leads, especially near livestock.

At 8.0 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 47 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way.
