Lower Pete's Creek Trail #858.1

The trail traverses a flat bench with Douglas-fir and western hemlock before dropping 400 feet to the West Fork Humptulips River. From the Pete's Creek Trailhead the river is reached in a short 1.0 mile.

Covering just 1.4 km, this is a gentle outing perfect for families or beginners. Allow roughly 18 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. The trail is officially waymarked as 858.1, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
