M14 - Malesco - Bocchetta di Cortechiuso

From Malesco to Fondo li Gabbi in Val Loana, partially following the road and then for mule track at Alpe Scaredi gate of the Val Grande, then with easy path, in the high meadows, to the Bocchetta di Cortechiuso

A 11.8 km full-day trail that rewards walkers with a proper day out. Budget roughly 2 hours and 37 minutes at a steady pace.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Follow the M14 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
