A 25.8 km long-distance challenge suited to experienced hikers. Most complete it in around 5 hours and 45 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Look for the HW 3 trail markings to stay on the official route.

The National Walking Network (NWN) designation reflects the importance of this trail at a national level. Expect consistent waymarking and well-maintained path surfaces.
