Mildred Lakes Trail #822
The Mildred Lakes trail is a boot path made by the feet of many hikers and fishermen. It is a root-strewn climb to the lakes. In places, it becomes steep and difficult to follow.
Covering 6.1 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 21 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the 822 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.
As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
