Monkey Bear Falls Trail
The trail crosses 10 Mile Creek on a large foot log with band rails on both sides. As you near the falls, the trail leaves the forest and switchbacks up a rocky ridge to a view point of Monkey Bear Falls.
Covering just 3.4 km, this is a gentle outing perfect for families or beginners. Allow roughly 46 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Look for the TR 1273 trail markings to stay on the official route.
Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
