Ouachita National Recreation Trail

Ouachita National Recreation Trail is a 78.7 km Regional Hiking hiking trail covering an interesting stretch of countryside.

A 78.7 km long-distance route for dedicated hikers. Total walking time is approximately 17 hours and 30 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Follow the OT waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
