Pacific Northwest Trail 01 Montana
1200 mile long trail running from the Continental Divide to Washington's Olympic Coast, passing through many National Parks and Forests along the way.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. The trail is officially waymarked as PNT, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
This route is part of the National Walking Network (NWN) — a flagship trail maintained to national standards, often following scenic or historically significant corridors.
