Pastures and Panoramas Walk at Brimham Rocks

Pass through pastures in Nidderdale with panoramic views across the dale and beyond, on this circular walk. As you walk along the river path, you might see flashes of blue as kingfishers fly past, or brown trout in the river. Muddy in places.

Covering 11.2 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 29 minutes.

This loop trail is a practical choice for day hikers: you start and end at the same spot, with no shuttle or pick-up required.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
