R 12 (Eixendorfer Stausee)

Covering 19.8 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 4 hours and 24 minutes.

With start and finish just a short distance apart, this near-loop trail offers most of the convenience of a circular route with a subtly different final stretch. Look for the R12 trail markings to stay on the official route.
