R09a Corpetto - Bivio R11 Cappella sopra Ponte del Dragone

From the mountain pasture of Corpetto near Intragna go down to the Usciago Fondo bridge over the San Giovanni stream to go up to the crossroads with R11 to the Chapel above the Ponte del Dragone in the direction of Piaggia.

A compact 2.8 km route ideal for a relaxed morning out. At an easy pace, plan for about 37 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Follow the R09A waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
