Ribble Way
The Ribble Way follows the valley of the River Ribble from the mouth to the source near to the Pennine Way National Trail on Gayle Moor.
This 41.7 km route is a major undertaking — excellent fitness, reliable navigation, and multi-day planning are required. End-to-end time is roughly 9 hours and 16 minutes.
Point-to-point in layout, this trail takes you from A to B across the landscape. Consider your return logistics before heading out.
This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
