Follow the River Blackwater around the estate & cross the industrial-age Bond's Bridge. Look out for kingfishers darting across the water during your walk. Mixed woodland & riverside surfaces.

A compact 4.3 km route ideal for a relaxed morning out. At an easy pace, plan for about 58 minutes.

This route forms a near-complete loop: the start and finish are very close together, so only minimal transport is needed to get back. It combines the convenience of a circular walk with a slightly varied return.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
