Walk along the Tipperary Road through open heath & blanket bog following a waymarked trail to the highest peak in the Belfast Hills, Divis Mountain. Overlooking the city below and with panoramic views of Lough Neagh, the Mournes & Strangford Lough.

This 4.4 km walk is easy-going and within reach of all fitness levels. Most walkers finish in around 59 minutes.

The route nearly completes a loop, with start and end points within easy walking distance of each other. Minimal logistics required.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
