Te Araroa - 03 Waikato - e Pukete Road to Taitua Arboretum, Taitua Rd, Hamilton

Hamilton's Taitua Arboretum is a collection of mature trees on 20 hectares of open pasture, lakes and woodland gardens linked by a network of walking tracks and bridges and features great views and wonderful bird life. Open 7 days from 8am to before dusk.

This 18.8 km route makes for a full-day commitment — bring sufficient food and water. Plan for around 4 hours and 11 minutes on the trail.

Point-to-point in layout, this trail takes you from A to B across the landscape. Consider your return logistics before heading out. The trail is officially waymarked as TA03e, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
