Teeley Creek Trail #251
The trail descends from Forest Road 8140 to Pothole Lake. It then meets with Osborne Mountain Trail, turns south and climbs steeply to Upper Bertha May Lake. Continuing east, it passes Granite Lake ending at a junction with Big Creek Trail near Cora Lake.
At 6.4 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 26 minutes.
The route forms a complete loop, returning you to where you started. This makes logistics simple and the outing entirely self-contained. Follow the 251 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.
As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
