The Duchess and the Bishop's Walk

A leisurely walk with one small section of steps and gentle inclines. The walk uses the Bishop's Path and Connects with the little know but very picturesque Duchess Bridle Path to reach Dunkeld House Hotel. It then returns via the side of the River Tay.

A compact 3.2 km route ideal for a relaxed morning out. At an easy pace, plan for about 43 minutes.

This is a circular route that brings you back to your exact starting point — ideal for a self-contained day out without having to organise return transport.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
