Trilho do Glaciar e do Alto Vez

Este percurso localiza-se na vertente norte da Serra da Peneda, no extremo noroeste do concelho de montanha de Arcos de Valdevez e envolve o território da freguesia de Sistelo, percorrendo parte do lugar de Porto Cova.

Covering 10.9 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 25 minutes.

With start and finish just a short distance apart, this near-loop trail offers most of the convenience of a circular route with a subtly different final stretch. Look for the PR6AVV trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
