Tunnel Creek Trail #841
The trail follows South Fork Tunnel Creek for past a wooden shelter. At 3 miles the trail crosses the creek and then climbs steadily to Harrison Lake and 5050 Pass. Continue for a very steep descent to Dosewallips River for a one way trip of 7.9 miles.
Covering 11.3 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the 841 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.
