Two Saints Way
Two Saints Way - Chester Cathedral to/from Lichfield Cathedral. In the late Middle Ages a steady stream of pilgrims walked this way – both housing shrines to two game-changing Mercian saints in the 7th century - St Werburgh and St Chad
At 150.8 km, this is a demanding long-distance hike that may be split across multiple days. Experienced hikers typically take around 33 hours and 30 minutes to complete it end-to-end.
As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Follow the TSW waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.
This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
