Via di Linari - tappa 7 - Palanzano - Rigoso
The Via di Linari is an ancient route of commercial passage and pilgrimage to Rome as an alternative to the Via Francigena on which it was grafted from the city of Fidenza towards Parma to reach Tuscany through the Lagastrello Pass
Covering 15.5 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 3 hours and 26 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the VL waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.
This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
