West Fork #108

One of the most popular trails in Coconino National Forest, and notable nationally, the West Fork trail meanders alongside West Fork Oak Creek. At spots along the trail, it crosses the intermittent stream.

At 5.2 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 9 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Look for the 108 trail markings to stay on the official route.

Part of the Local Walking Network (LWN), this trail is ideal for exploring the neighbourhood landscape. It is typically well-known to local walkers and offers an authentic sense of place.
