Wilddiebsroute

Auf heißen Spuren - Die Wilddiebsroute folgt den Spuren der Silixer Wilddiebe und Holzfrevler, die vor 100Jahren ihren Fleisch und Holzbedarf auf nicht ganz legale Weise mit Wilddieberei und Holzdiebstahl in den umliegenden Wäldern deckten.

At 5.7 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. The trail is officially waymarked as WiGr, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
