Vom Bahnhof Plettenberg führt der Weg durch die Innenstadt des Ortes zur Nordhelle, von dort weiter nach Meinerzhagen, über den Unnenberg und Gummersbach nach Wiehl, Nümbrecht, Waldbröl und Morsbach nach Siegen

Covering 12.7 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 49 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the X11 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
