A Coastal Walk at St Helens Duver, Isle of Wight
Varied coast walk exploring St Helens Duver. Along a sandy spit rich in wildlife & history. From Bembridge harbour pass along the rocky seashore before climbing inland & returning via picturesque St Helens. Beware of tides. Steep, slippery gradients.
Covering 7.4 km, this is a satisfying walk that most reasonably fit hikers will complete in about 1 hour and 39 minutes.
This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.
As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
