A14 - Verigo - Passo di Basagrana

Mixed route initially through woods and village , in the upper part in abandoned alpine pastures and on wide high altitude basins . We are at the gates of the Val Grande in the national park here fauna and flora abound and make special the route itself

A 7.8 km half-day trail that offers a balanced outing without demanding too much. Budget around 1 hour and 45 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Follow the A14 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
