Chenamus Lake Trail #29A

Located in the north portion of the Indian Heaven Wilderness, Chenamus Trail #29A begins at the northeast end of Placid Lake via Placid Lake Trail #29. It proceeds part way around the lake then climbs south to Chenamus Lake.

Covering just 841 m, this is a gentle outing perfect for families or beginners. Allow roughly 11 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. Follow the 29A waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
