Coombe Hill and Chequers Trail, Central Chilterns

A moderate circular offering views across the Aylesbury Vale. See rare chalk grassland, beautiful woodlands, Ellesborough village & the Prime Minister’s country retreat at Chequers. Some paths can get slippery. Includes steep climb that can be bypassed.

A 10.8 km full-day trail that rewards walkers with a proper day out. Budget roughly 2 hours and 24 minutes at a steady pace.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back.
