Named after the Earls of Darnley, who owned Cobham Hall & the land that you will see en route, the trail is an excellent way to see local highlights. Gently undulating countryside via Cobham Park, Ranscombe Farm Reserve, Ashenbank & Jeskyns Community Wood

Covering 12.5 km, this is a substantial hike requiring a reasonable base fitness. Most walkers complete it in about 2 hours and 47 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start.
